We need concerted prayer for an attempted rescue of trafficked children today.

Urgent Prayer and Protection Request – Rescue Operation in Laos

Just got this urgent prayer request from our anti-trafficking ministry partners.

“Project Justice has received an urgent report from our local team in XXX regarding a serious case of child trafficking and sexual exploitation. According to the lead, seven children, estimated to be between the ages of 10 to 13 years old, are currently being held in a brothel and are at risk of ongoing exploitation.

The children are believed to be in here. We need the police to go get them out because if the team does it they can be accused of kidnapping or trafficking themselves. There has to be legal cooperation.

Our trained rescue team is preparing to take immediate action in coordination with local partners. We are actively working to ensure:

1. The safety and protection of all involved children

2. The successful removal of the children from the situation

3. Cooperation and support from the children's families and local communities

4. We ask for your prayers and support as we move forward. Please pray specifically for:

5. God’s protection over our team and the children

6. A safe and successful operation

7. Wisdom and favor in working with local authorities and village leaders

This case is being handled with the utmost care in line with our Child Protection Policy and will be fully documented for legal follow-up.
